JOURNEY:

By airplane:	In the months from April until October there are daily charter flights to Corfu. Please book your flight in time. Scheduled flights operate only via Athens. The airport of Corfu is located at the outskirts of Kerkyra. You can go by bus or taxi to reach your destination. Several car rentals are at the airport, so there are no obstacles to your expedition. Gladly we will pick you up at the airport.

By ferry:	In the months from April until October there are daily ferries from and to the Adria harbours Venice, Trieste, Ancona and Brindisi. From Venice and Trieste it will take about 26 hours. The benefit of this kind of journey is, that you can travel with your own car and your holiday begins when you arrive on the comfortable ship. The ferryboats, no matter which company, are equipped with swimming pool, several restaurants, snackbars, bars and shops. We recommend to book a cabin for the overnight stay on ship.

BUSSES ON CORFU:	On Corfu we distinguish between two kinds of busses: The blue ones operate in the capital and stop at the larger towns of the island. The green busses connect Kerkyra with all villages of the island. Tickets for the blue busses are available at kiosks, in the green busses you have to pay the driver.

CAR AND MOPED:	Car and moped rentals can be found on the whole island, it´s worth to check the prices. We gladly will help you to find an offer on easy terms. The main roads of Corfu, running from the North via Kerkyra to the South of the island, are good developed. The remaining road network, especially the less used roads in the mountain villages, sometimes have a poor surface - narrow lanes and blind bends are no rareness. But with circumspect driving these things are no problem. Fact is, that expeditions at your own will certain enrich your holidays. Only by this way you can experience the flair of the island.

MONEY AND BANKS:	Since January 1st, 2002 the Euro is the national currency. In any bigger town you will find banks and cash dispensers, where you can withdraw money with creditcard or ATM-card. The nearest bank with cash dispenser is located in Moraitika, about 8 km away from Petriti.
